In Westward's perpetual search for ways to revolutionize whiskey, they often seek inspiration from friends and fellow craft-makers. Westward reached out to James Beard Award-winning baker Ken Forkish and introduced their French sourdough levain instead of their typical pale ale yeast.

While remaining faithful to the trademark Westward style in all other respects, a two-week fermenting process yielded a host of new flavours. This creative release is a thoughtful mingling of four different vintages from across the years which builds on the success of their initial batch.

AROMA: Rye spice, vanilla wafer, peppermint, heather honey

PALATE: Creamy butterscotch, minty spice, earthy, herbaceous

FINISH: Stone fruit, chocolate, vanilla bean
