This rich and oily maize adds new sophistication to the corn whisky tradition while keeping the freshness and verve of classic American distilling. Intentionally youthful, Baby Blue captures the essence of this prized corn with a round nuttiness, roasted overtones and refined complexity. The mouthfeel is viscous with a soft finish. A true Texas original that we are delighted to share with the world.
About the Brand
The first Texas whisky produced since prohibition, Balcones Distilling started in an old welding shop under a bridge in Waco. Now over a decade later, Balcones is world renowned for creating authentic Texas spirits from grain to glass. In 2014 Balcones Distilling moved to their new home, the old Texas Fire Proof Storage Co. building in downtown Waco. Master Distiller Jared Himstedt leads a team of Texan Distilling Pioneers, challenging tradition and bringing the original Texas spirit to the world.
