MIRADOR TEXAS SINGLE MALT WHISKY

Mirador is a “second fill barrel malt profile” whisky. This bottling is made up of whiskies aged in used casks ranging from 2 years to almost 5 years in age. The oak profile is much softer than other Balcones whisky’s.
The nose has hints of pear, green apple skins and flower stems, with honeysuckle, honey, brown sugar and soft suede leather. The Palate has green fruit, green tea and honey with hints of fennel and lemongrass. As it breathes, it develops a light fruit syrup impression with soft spice notes to evoke apple pie with lemon curd, fruit salad with marshmallows and pecans. Finishing with dry notes of sandalwood and marmalade and Earl Grey tea.
About the Brand
The first Texas whisky produced since prohibition, Balcones Distilling started in an old welding shop under a bridge in Waco.
